Administrative Commander

Commander Calvaresi has been serving the Northlake Police Department with dedication and integrity for over 30 years. He began his career as an Auxiliary Police Officer and became a full time Police Officer four years later. During his career at Northlake PD, Commander Calvaresi has since held various roles, including Field Training Officer, Patrol Sergeant, and Administrative Sergeant, before being promoted to Administrative Commander.

As Administrative Commander, Commander Calvaresi oversees the police department’s Support Services divisions; this includes the Records Division, Communications Division (Dispatch), and Code Enforcement Division. Commander Calvaresi has also managed the department’s Social Service Coordinator, served as the department’s Training Manager and Social Media Coordinator, and managed the CodeRED electronic notification system. He will continue to oversee these areas indirectly as many of these responsibilities have been transferred to the Administrative Sergeant—who now reports to Commander Calvaresi.

The Administrative Commander is also responsible for handling all City municipal/administrative warrants, assisting with the coordination of City special events, and managing all building operations.

The Administrative Commander reports directly to the Chief of Police.
