Alex Sosa, Alderman 2nd Ward
My name is Alex Sosa. I was born in Lima, Peru and I’ve settled into Northlake since 2006. I have been married for the past 24 years to my wife Gizelle, who is originally from Brazil. We have two kids, both of whom are attending college.
Before serving as an Alderman of Northlake, I’ve served the community for 6 years as a board member on the Board of Education for District 87.
Currently, I am working for CBRE. For the past three years, I have served as Assistant Facility Coordinator for the Microsoft portfolio.
Northlake has been home for my family and me for 18 years now. I’ve seen this town grow and I am proud of the direction it has been going towards. Since I’ve begun my run as Alderman, I’ve realized how important it is to represent those in my town. I thank your continued support and I hope to make the people of Northlake proud and satisfied with the efforts of the city, just as I am.
