Penny Feldmann, Alderwoman 1st Ward

Alderwoman Penny Feldmann has been a first ward council member since 2002.  She has dedicated her career to listening to her constituents for their thoughts and ideas to improve Northlake.  As example, she chaired the committee to create a Dog Park. It was a pilot program initially that was then made permanent.  She also Chaired the Chicken Committee to create an ordinance that would allow Chickens legally in the City of Northlake. Chickens are now legal if you get a permit and follow the rules for location on your property, etc.

She is married to Paul R. Feldmann and has 2 married sons and 4 grandchildren.  She is retired from her position as a Certified Nurse Midwife from UI Health for 27 years and then at Elmhurst Midwifery and Women’s Health for 2 years.

She enjoys spending time with her family, playing with her dogs, sitting around a campfire and soaking in her hot tub.  Don’t hesitate to email me if you have questions or need something.
