The City of Northlake Records Division plays a crucial role in the seamless operation of our police department. Responsible for the meticulous collection, maintenance, recording, and distribution of all police records, the division handles various documents including but not limited to citations, warrants, case reports, arrest reports, and accident reports.

In addition to these core responsibilities, the Records Division also efficiently processes FOIA (Freedom of Information Act) requests, solicitor permits, liquor licenses, overweight permits, court preparations, and dispositions. They ensure accurate reporting of statistical information to the Illinois Department of Transportation, Illinois State Police, and Federal Bureau of Investigation.

Staffed by a dedicated team, the Records Division comprises one full-time supervisor, two full-time records assistants, and one part-time records assistant. Our division is conveniently located within the Northlake Police Department at 55 E. North Ave. We are open to serve you from Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

We are committed to upholding the highest standards of professionalism and service in all our records management duties.
