The Northlake Police Department has maintained a pro-active and close working relationship with the School Districts and their representatives. Each organization has taken a proactive stance on crime and related issues which occur inside the schools and on school grounds. The program promotes a positive contact between our Schools, students and the Police Department. It also is an effective source for both the police and School sharing information of mutual concern.
Officer John Pesoli is assigned to West Leyden High School as a fulltime liaison officer.
Detective Rebecca Quinn is assigned to the k-8 schools in Northlake and is utilized on an “as needed” basis.
Both SRO are state certified School Resources Officers and Juvenile Officers.
