The Prescription Drug Collection Program facilitates the safe disposal of unused or expired prescription medications for residents. In collaboration with Cook County, a secure drop-off receptacle is provided on the north side of the police department, adjacent to the guest parking lot. Residents may deposit medications in their original containers or sealed bags, with the exclusion of liquids and sharp items. This initiative serves to mitigate medication misuse and safeguard environmental integrity.
